Love him or hate him, he sure hits the nail on the head with this! To anyone with kids of any age, here's some advice. Bill Gates recently gave a speech at a High School about 11 things they did not and will not learn in school. He talks about how feel-good, politically correct teachings created a generation of kids wit no concept of reality and how this concept set them up for failure in the real world.

Rule 1 : Life is not fair -- get used to it!

Rule 2 : The world won't care about your self-esteem.
The world will expect you to accomplish something
BEFORE you feel good about yourself.

Rule 3 : You will NOT make $60,000 a year right out of
high school. You won't be a vice-president with a car
phone until you earn both.

Rule 4 : If you think your teacher is tough, wait till
you get a boss.

Rule 5 : Flipping burgers is not beneath your dignity.
Your Grandparents had a different word for burger
flipping: they called it opportunity.

Rule 6 : If you mess up, it's not your parents' fault,
so don't whine about your mistakes, learn from them.

Rule 7 : Before you were born, your parents weren't as boring as they are now. They got that way from paying your bills, cleaning your clothes and listening to you talk about how cool you thought you were. So before you save the rain forest from the parasites of your parent's generation, try delousing the closet in your own room.

Rule 8 : Your school may have done away with winners
and losers, but life HAS NOT. In some schools, they
have abolished failing grades and they'll give you as
MANY TIMES as you want to get the right answer. This
doesn't bear the slightest resemblance to ANYTHING in
real life.

Rule 9 : Life is not divided into semesters. You don't
get summers off and very few employers are interested
in helping you FIND YOURSELF. Do that on your own
time.

Rule 10 : Television is NOT real life. In real life
people actually have to leave the coffee shop and go
to jobs.

Rule 11 : Be nice to nerds. Chances are you'll end up
working for one.

night1. arrived at anne raquel's at 5pm. roamed around. got lost. found our way back. ate dinner. night swimming. karaoke! slept at around 2am.

day2. breakfast. went to subic yacht club~!. go kart. tennis. lunch. jetski. whattaday! :P

night2. swimming at sbyc. dinner. went back to anne raquel's. tireddd. for some reason, most of them flocked to my bed, leaving me with no space to sleep. tickled. pushed. burped. farted (eww!). aj and jonas ended up sleeping in my small bed and i slept in the big bed~ alone :P wasn't so bad after all :P jonas talked and sang in his sleep. poor aj, couldn't sleep. tsk tsk.

day3. breakfast. left. katmobile. slept. lunch at max's. byebye rr. byebye bona and derick. cerealicious. biggy tummy.

We're happy and surreal.

we had a dia sleepover at cy's place. unfortunately i wasn't able to sleep over. so sad for me :(

but i didn't miss the fun! we had CHOCOLATE FONDUE ♥♥♥! oh yeah :D too bad for the people who missed it.

we first met at mcdo qave and decided to take the mrt together to at least prevent the bus incident that almost killed the dia people last time. so anyways, we walked our way to cy's house from ayala station. it was sooo hooott (it was actually noontime), and we look stupid crossing the streets running. haha :))



we finally arrived at cy's house and we headed to his pool, or rather pond. i dunno what exactly happened but to make the long story short, their pool became a pond.

we haven't eaten lunch yet and we found out that they don't have food for lunch. and by the way, pandan juice makes me sick. blech.

ate: sorry wala ng pandan juice, eto na lang meron. *hands orange juice to us
andy: ah ok. that's gonna be mine! *grabs the orange juice and drinks

i swear, im never gonna drink pandan juice again.


so we had our lunch at sm makati. how we got there?
yes, we ran in the streets again. we battled our way to the other side of the road against the speeding buses and cars. whew! no bus incident this time! YAY! :)




it was a friday so we were looking for non-meat dishes. then mithi and i found seafood paella, which doesn't taste good and is very very expensive.






then, we went grocery shopping! we bought lots of chocolates, marshmallows, wafers, stik-o, strawberries, dragonfruit, honeydew, whipping cream (which mithi LOVED so dearly) and nata de coco?? for the CHOCOLATE FONDUE =P~

oh yeah, we didn't buy that del monte fruit cocktail which roby is holding :P

we couldn't wait for the others (tim and joreb actually) so we made the fondue without them! :D
we cooked, messed at the kitchen, prepared the fruits and filled our tummies with lotsa chocolates! :)















who cares about the fats and calories??


whatever.


and we totally got high~


but after that we were back to normal, dont worry :)
we did the usual stuffs: studio pics and movie

but i missed the movie too. they watched dreamgirls, i think. or was it 300. dunno. or maybe both. 300 dreamgirls. wow!



i want more chocolate fondue. save the rest of the chocolate bars, cy! :D
