Sweet dreams

I've always wanted to have a brother. A kuya, actually. But duh, I could never have one, unless in my dreams.

AND I JUST DID!

Well, I did dream about me having a brother. Not a kuya though, but a baby brother :) His name was Gabe (short for Gabriel). I asked my dad in my dream, "Anong pangalan nya?" In which my dad replied, "Gabriel." And his eyes were gray! @_@ (YES, just like the one in The Giver by Lois Lowry) Funny thing is, I've read the book so many years ago, not attached to any of the characters, and I wasn't thinking of The Giver recently. So why was my little brother sorta like him? I don't know.

My "brother" grew up. He was like 6-7 years old and he was thin (not malnourished, though) and he's very nice. Angelic :)

And I felt so happy in my dream. So differently happy, I just can't explain what exactly I was feeling. And the dream felt so true :) I never thought having a sibling could actually be so fun!

I woke up suddenly. The last thing I remembered in my dream was we were in front of a beautiful landscape, and he was asking me something and I was explaining something to him. As I woke up, that happy feeling suddenly just vanished and I was like "Wala pa rin akong kapatid. It was just a dream."

Unlike my other happy dreams, if I want to feel happy again, I'll just think of them and the happiness just comes back - no sweat. This time, no matter how I try to think of all the things that happened, how Gabe came to us and all that, I just can't get the feeling back. The feeling of having a sibling. Everything in that dream seems like a blur to me now. At least, I somehow experienced the feeling of having an angelic sibling, even if it's just in my dream.

--- Lord, I just want to thank you for the dream. Thank you for making dreams in the first place. Thank you for letting us escape from reality for awhile and go someplace else while we are sleeping.
