A year-ender post

1. What did you do in 2008 that you've never done before?

Went to the mall ALONE - to buy a gift for my niece.
Had a class in the NIP new building XP
Had a class in IB. Finally, haha!
Pithed a frog. Oh wait, TWO frogs.
Frog and cockroach dissection.
Joined ABM, and everything that went along with it - interview, culmi, CS carolfest. Now, that's ALOT!
Watched Lantern Parade! WOOHOO!

2. Did you keep your new years' resolutions, and will you make more for next year?

I promised not to consume junk foods and soda. Well, I guess promises are really meant to be broken. BUT my junk food and soda consumption minimized, so I guess I have to keep working on it! :9

3. Did anyone close to you give birth?

Uhh, none.

4. Did anyone close to you die?

Thank God, none.

5. What country did you visit?

None. Watta loser.

6. What would you like to have in 2009 that you lacked in 2008?

Focus on studies.

7. What dates from 2008 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?

June 3 - The day I prerog-ed 7, yes SEVEN, subjects
August 27 - two days before my birthday - the day I lost my cellphone. The first time I lost a cellphone.
August 29 - my eighteenth.
Nov 8 - Culmeeeeeeh! How can I not forget this?
Dec 17 - Lantern Parade and the grand fireworks!!

8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?

Conquering Math series (for my course, that is)

9. What was your biggest failure?

2.5 in Eng10 - such a patalo GE!

10. Did you suffer illness or injury?

Nope :)

11. What was the best thing you bought?

THE GREAT BRAIN BOOK!

12. Whose behavior merited celebration?

Mine.

13. Whose behavior made you appalled and depressed?

Still mine.

14. Where did most of your money go?

Food, colored pens and my favorite uni pens.

15. What did you get really, really, really excited about?

TEH Culmi -- I was so excited I wasn't able to sleep. That was the worst feeling ever, I felt like puking.

16. What songs will remind you of 2008?

All of the jologs songs - tagalog versions of Low, Umbrella, Bleeding love, Please don't stop the music.

i. Happier or sadder? I guess happier.
ii. Thinner or fatter? I have no idea.
iii. Richer or poorer? POORER! and this time I'm sure.

Striving.

Procrastinating.

20. How will you be spending Christmas?

With family. And lotsa good food, that's for sure ;)

Fell more in love with life and God :)

WOW I heard my parrot laugh! :)) LOL to this one.

SOUTH PARK!

24. Do you hate anyone now that you didn't hate this time last year?

Nope.

25. What was the best book you read?

For this year? I guess The Devil and Miss Prym by Paulo Coelho.

26. What was your greatest musical discovery?

I can rap ._.

27. What did you want and got?

Belle de jour and Starbucks planner - yes, I got 2 planners for 2009!

28. What was your favorite film of this year?

Ironman.

29. What did you do on your birthday, and how old were you?

It was my eighteenth, and I had class, and a gen meet. It was unexpectedly fun, had family dinner and all those birthday stuffs.

30. What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying?

Dad being home this Christmas.

31. How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2008?

I have no clue.

32. What kept you sane?

Me sane? My friends are there to keep me INsane!

33. Who did you miss?

My highschooooool friends!!!

34. Who was the best new person you met?

I can't go for one person, since I met a whole bunch of people this year: CHAMBER 33 and all the loving ABM people!
I'll scream this out loud: I LOVE ABM! I LOVE ABM! I LOVE ABM SH*T!

35. Tell us a valuable life lesson you learned in 2008.

Smile often. Dream big. Worry less. Manage time. Work hard. Listen. Learn from mistakes. Overcome failure. Play. Pray hard. LIVE OUT LOUD!
