Today wasn't a usual Saturday -
my usual Saturday, even though:
1) I still have the same schedule for today: Ultimate at 10am-12nn.
2) Aouex still didn't show up. I just want to believe he's really dead. We usually tell jokes about him.
--Person1: Uy! Bakit wala si Aouex?
Person2: Nagpakamatay na un.--Oh come on. Of course, I'm still joking.
3) At least Bruce showed up. Late. Well, that's expected.
4) The softball/baseball/whatever people were there. They occupied most of the field, meaning we can't play again.
Yeah yeah..
However, these made
my Saturday unusual:
1) My mom left for Cagayan de Oro today and she wouldn't be around for two weeks or so.
2) My mom and I switched phones, because hers are
low-batt and her charger was soaked in the water along with the laundry (i just don't know how, but yeah, i saw it was dripping wet) and now I have to buy a new charger.
3) It's my lola's birthday, so my mom and I dropped by their house to greet her, before my mom goes to the airport, and me to UP.
4) I went to school without my disk, not because I forgot it at home, but because I left it in school last week. So the whole week I was praying and wishing that either Bruce or Joaquin got my disk.
5) When I arrived in UP, I found out that my disk wasn't with the people I expected who have gotten it - it was with Greta! THANK YOU SO MUCH, GRETA! :)
6) Few of us bothered to go to school, and seven of us were willing to play: Me, Ken, Greta, Mike, Francis, Joey, Kiko and Joaquin (Bruce wasn't here yet); so we can't divide into teams to play. We did several drills instead, courtesy of the latter two.
7) When Bruce came, Joey and Greta went home. Bruce handled the last drill, which was sort of "planting rice".
The whole day was so exhausting. I called for a water break in the middle of a drill, but Ken wouldn't allow me to. But I still managed to get out in the middle of the drill (sorry i ruined the whole drill) and got myself a water break. Whatever haha. I felt like dying under the sun -
midday sun to be precise (yeah i know, nognog na ako. Preparation yan for summer. Advanced tan lol). I never thought Bruce could actually act like Bruce Lee. LOL. He dived for the disc and rolled like a stuntman. I don't know how long we played, it seemed like ten hours to me. But at least we played, and made this unusual Saturday uberly exhausting and uberly fun. :)
And, I got to bring home my beloved disk (Thanks again, Greta! :D ), and a big purple bruise in my right leg. Thanks! You know who you are :P
